َAs part of its efforts to strengthen the link between vocational training and labour market needs, HAND has signed a cooperation agreement with Al-Mahib Trading Company in Homs Governorate, a company specialising in the trade, supply and manufacturing of aluminium profiles and related materials.
The partnership will help connect vocational learning with real workplace settings by drawing on the company’s technical expertise and practical experience. It will provide trainees with opportunities for hands-on learning and greater exposure to workplace practices and occupational requirements.
The collaboration will also support trainee assessment and career guidance, while facilitating the identification and referral of high-performing trainees for training and employment opportunities in line with the company’s workforce needs.
By strengthening engagement with private-sector employers, HAND is working to make vocational training more responsive to labour market demand and help trainees build the practical skills and experience needed to transition into employment.
