In the southwestern countryside of Homs, Syria, lies one of the region’s most important agricultural cities—a vital hub thanks to its strategic and distinctive location.

When we speak of its qualities, it is clear we are referring to Al-Qusayr, a city cherished by all Syrians for the historical stories it carries—stories that embody resilience and steadfastness throughout the long years of war.

Today, its people return with renewed spirits, with energy and determination to restore what the war destroyed—both stone and tree. They understand that the displacement, destruction, and pain they endured are not obstacles, but rather a driving force for their hands to rebuild the city as they once knew it.

As HAND Organization, we share in this great honor. We have begun restoration work on Al-Qusayr’s Clock Square, welcomed daily by the anticipation of its residents and the stories they recount of their memories in this place.

We continue our mission and commitment to supporting Syria’s reconstruction process, alongside our work in the Umayyad Mosque, the restoration of schools, community centers, and other projects across various Syrian governorates—hoping that these efforts will reflect positively on the country and contribute to its recovery and rebuilding.
