As part of the “Nomu AlGhurair - Mawared project” Vocational Training Project, improving vocational training facilities is recognized as a critical investment that goes beyond cosmetic upgrades. It is essential to ensuring safe, functional, and inclusive learning environments that enable young people to effectively engage in skills development.
At the Vocational Training Complex in Al-Qaboun, Damascus Governorate, rehabilitation and maintenance works have been completed to enhance the overall readiness of the facility and to provide a more conducive environment for both theoretical instruction and practical training.
These efforts contribute to strengthening the quality of vocational training and align with the project’s objective of bridging the gap between youth skills and labor market demands.
This intervention is implemented under the “Nomu AlGhurair - Mawared” Project by HAND, in collaboration with Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation مؤسسة عبد الله الغرير the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation and in partnership with the Syrian Ministry of Economy and Industry.
