As the school year ends, we've planned to bring lots of smiles to the faces of our kindergarten students. ✨ These smiles are from an activity we did to make special memories for them.

I'm Layal, a teacher with two degrees – one in Law and the other in Arabic. I love learning and teaching alike! For 20 years, I've been teaching Arabic and education at Arsal Official Middle School, and law at Arsal Technical Institute. My time at Jil Al-Salam Schools has evolved my teaching style, especially through digital platforms with engaging activities. The supportive atmosphere among staff keeps me active! I value mutual respect with my students, aiming to leave a positive mark on them and help them excel.

An engaging English lesson for fifth-grade students! ✨ Students listen to words through a video clip, then we present them with paper posters containing the words, prompting them to guess the meaning of the written word. At the second parent meeting for students at Jil Al Salam School, we shared the end-of-year and final exam dates. We also explained how parents can obtain their children's paperwork and outlined the ninth-grade final exam schedule. Every day, parents grapple with the daunting question of how to provide meals for their children. That's why we dedicate ourselves to the 1 Billion Meals Endowment, tirelessly working to supply food baskets and offer support to exhausted parents. - These photos document the distribution efforts in the Lebanese city of Akkar.

The 1 Billion Meals Endowment, in partnership with @digital_sch , stands as a true pillar of support for families facing daily struggles to put food on the table, providing essential food baskets to those in need. Our goal is to continuously extend assistance to as many vulnerable individuals as possible and serve as a beacon of hope during their challenging times. 🙏🏻 - These images capture the distribution efforts in the city of #Bekaa.

As part of the Billion Meals Endowment, in partnership with the Digital School, we distributed meals to over 30,000 individuals in Bekaa, Baalbek-Hermel, and North Lebanon. The distribution encompassed families of students enrolled in the Digital School in Lebanon, along with underprivileged families of both Syrian and Lebanese. -The accompanying photos showcase the distribution in the city of Arsal.

"The Billion Meals Endowment" is one of the initiatives spearheaded by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in collaboration with the Digital School, with the aim of providing assistance to the most vulnerable families in Lebanon and the students of the Digital School. At HAND, we are thrilled to have played a part in executing this campaign to support those in need in Lebanon, underscoring the universal nature of kindness. 🙏🏻
