We are pleased to announce the launch of a new project aimed at improving access to water services in Zahle and Baalbek.
In response to the growing challenges of water scarcity and drought in Lebanon, HAND Organization is launching a new project to enhance access to water and sanitation services in the Zahle and Baalbek areas. The project is funded by the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF).
The project focuses on delivering sustainable solutions, including:
The construction of a water transmission line to the city of Baalbek
The installation of solar power panels for the water pumping station in the city of Zahle
Implemented over a period of 10 months, the project will benefit approximately 30,000 people, contributing to strengthened water security, reduced reliance on conventional energy sources, and improved living conditions for the most affected communities.
