Lebanon is facing a profound economic crisis that has deeply impacted its students.

The escalating financial strain has made educational costs prohibitive for many families, creating significant barriers for countless young learners.

Refugee children are particularly affected, grappling with high dropout rates due to unaffordable transportation, limited educational opportunities—especially for secondary students—and logistical challenges with evening classes.

For many, the struggle to attend school daily is overwhelming.

In response to this crisis, we are excited to announce a transformative partnership with the Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair Refugee Education Fund through our 'Empowering Youth' project.

This project goes beyond addressing educational needs—it's a beacon of hope for 750 vulnerable Lebanese and Syrian youth (500 through the summer school and 250 through formal education).

Our partnership represents a pivotal moment, offering students not just education but a pathway to a brighter future.

Our innovative summer school program in Arsal will integrate modern digital tools into the curriculum. In an environment where traditional resources are limited, digital tools have become essential.

By digitizing curricula and uploading them to a digital platform, we provide students and teachers with interactive, reviewed resources.

This integration not only enhances the learning experience but also ensures that educational materials are easily accessible and up-to-date.

This approach enriches the learning experience and ensures easy access to comprehensive educational materials, effectively bridging the gaps created by the current crisis.

This program will offer targeted support, providing students with a comprehensive education designed to equip them for success. Beyond academics, we are committed to the holistic development of each student, including PSS (psychosocial support) awareness sessions and focused psychosocial support (FPSS).

Additionally, our educators are receiving specialized training in digital teaching, enabling them to deliver engaging and effective education in a modern setting. At HAND Organization, we firmly believe that every child deserves exceptional education, regardless of their circumstances.

By removing barriers and providing thorough support, we aim to create a nurturing environment where students can truly thrive.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair Refugee Education Fund for their visionary support, which is crucial in igniting hope and shaping a sustainable future for the next generation. Join us in this transformative journey to make high-quality, inclusive education a reality for all.
