In response to the escalating conflict and the resulting humanitarian crisis in Lebanon, HAND has scaled up its operations to provide life-saving assistance to displaced and conflict-affected populations.

Since the onset of hostilities, approximately 759,300 individuals have been displaced, with 514 collective shelters nationwide hosting families who have fled their homes.

These families face urgent humanitarian needs, including access to food, essential household items, and basic survival necessities.

To address these critical needs, HAND has delivered 2,500 food parcels and 8,351 non-food items (NFIs), prioritizing the most vulnerable Syrian and Lebanese families residing in collective shelters, informal settlements, and host communities.

This support is designed to provide immediate relief while helping families maintain dignity and stability during displacement.

Through its continuous field presence and close coordination with relevant humanitarian actors and sectoral partners, HAND ensures that its interventions are timely, targeted, and well-coordinated, reaching those most in need efficiently and effectively.

These efforts aim not only to meet urgent needs but also to improve living conditions, strengthen resilience, and reduce the vulnerabilities faced by displaced households under challenging circumstances.

Committed to principled humanitarian action, HAND continues to work alongside partners to deliver essential assistance, advocate for protection, and support displaced families in navigating the ongoing crisis.
